Savoy Brasserie in Ottawa

Halloween at Savoy was fantabulous!!! The servers, and the entertainers were so much fun. The whole audience was in costumes which was amazing for this boring city. The food was good, I enjoyed all of it. I am accounting for complications of a sit down 4-course meal for 50 people at the same time. I think the staff did their best to cover the entire floor as fast as they humanly could. Great job Savoy!!

Nice french interior, super friendly staff, and interesting food! Overall we enjoyed our stay. Only drawback was that ladies washrooms werent clean.

Went early for Sunday brunch to beat the crowds and it was perfect. Everything on the menu looked good and we were not disappointed in our choices. Will be back..

I came here for the Christmas Miracle Pop Up, and I loved it! The interior was so festive and cheerful. The servers were so friendly and we were tended to quickly. The drinks came fast and tasted delicious. I will be coming back here for sure.

A nice french style brasserie in the heart of Westboro. The food is good, muel and frites are great, all the food was great everytime we have been there. Clean resto with character of a brasserie.

I was there for dinner with 3 guests after winning a contest. While the place doesn't look like much from the outside and could easily be missed, the inside is lovely! Our server was Marshall and he was such a friendly and knowledgeable individual. The food was perfect, the menu is creative and the ingredients are of excellent quality. Wonderful craft beer selection as well! We'll be back.

We made no reservation on family day and upon walking in it was clear they were VERY busy. Despite this, we were quickly acknowledged and seated. Food was spectacular (in house made mustard hollandaise, and perfectly cooked eggs) Jason C was a delightful server, who high fived us on the way out. We will definitely be back.

I've tried most of the menu items, but I love the salmon BLT, lentil curry is yummy too. WOULD RECOMMEND!

Went for lunch during these new Cocid times. Ordered inside and sat outside. Food was great, service was great, not much more to say. Go support them!

Met a friend for brunch on a Sunday. Service was prompt and friendly, menu has excellent variety and our benedicts were delicious! Lovely atmosphere as well.

Arrived at The Savoy at 8, table of 5. Service was great and my parents loved the food. Our server was diligent and made sure we had everything we wanted. Good pricing too. The design of the place is nice and easy on the eyes. Overall nice place for family.

This used to be my favourite breakfast place in all of Ottawa until they changed chefs. Now it is still good but it’s just not the same. They have illy coffee which is amazing. Its a nice atmosphere overall.

I saw their Facebook advertisement to get a free birthday meal the week of my birthday, and they were so nice about it and let me know all the details on advance! I went today with my girlfriends and my whole meal was free because of the BOGO deal, which was awesome. The place itself is so cute inside, the floor tiles are gorgeous, it has a slow, quaint French vibe. Such a nice atmosphere, service was so good as well! 10/10, will definitely return there later and awesome job at advertising. The French onion soup and my espresso martini were phenomenal!

The atmosphere, staff, and food were excellent!I would love to come back here. We had a food allergy and they make each dish fresh so they were able to accommodate us. I really appreciate it.

The decor and atmosphere are amazing. It's a nice spot near Westboro station, just a 6 minute walk. Food is good and Pineapple juice was also very good. Would come back to try their crab and asparagus eggs Benedict.

All around amazing experience! Ambiance makes you feel as if you're in the heart of old Montreal and the waiters are just as amicable! Prices arent cheap but you get what you pay for. We went for the weekend brunch and were offered delicious mimosas from the get-go (they don't skimp out on the champagne that's for sure) and served superb food with fun spins on classic breakfast dishes! Will definitely be back ☺️

Visited during their Christmas pop up "Miracle at the Savoy". Was so much fun and so spirited. Can't wait to go back and try the regular menu.

Food was delicious and arrived hot, but the small plates we were expecting first came out at the same time as our main courses. A mistake on an order was corrected, but resulted in baked oysters arriving well after we had started our main. Was very quiet (only a couple other tables). Server was lovely and food was great. Just not the experience I would expect.

I've never had slower service and a more confused wait staff than our brunch visit on a holiday Monday. People were walking away because no one would seat them and the place was no where near full. We almost left without paying because we asked twice for the bill and it seemed to fall on deaf ears. Sent them a private message and no reply.Nice atmosphere, location and food. Hopefully they can find some decent service staff.

Came at noon on a weekday. Not busy. Courteous servers. One of the best club sandwiches I've ever had. Crunchy fresh toast fresh avocado tomatoes lettuce chicken. Lots of tender chicken and crispy bacon. Ordered a coffee... Meh... But why order coffee here anyways when they have a kick ass specialty coffee machine as well as a huge selection of imported draft beer. Reasonable price for a sit down lunch or business lunch. Great place.

Super friendly and easy going staff. Food selection can be limited depending on preferences, but it is nevertheless a great place to hangout with friends.

My favourite brunch place in Ottawa! They always have cool promotions and events too.

Have been going for a few years now and always had great experiences. Beautiful space, incredible service, delicious food. This last visit, however, was pretty underwhelming and would've been a 2 star. We were there for about 2 hours with simple breakfast orders. Food came out cold and inaccurate, server(s) would leave our table as soon as they would do a drive-by drop-off, with no check-ins. No cream, cutlery, condiments. Also pretty pricey for what it was.. 2 eggs, Heinz beans, bacon, and Wonderbread. I'd give it another chance based on previous experiences being positive, but I'd probably advise against making a breakfast/brunch visit! Lots of good spots in the neighbourhood.

Not Sure where to Start. Made a reservation for 11:15am online for 6 and when we got there they were scrambling to seat us...put us at a booth that seats 4 but then told us the booth that was reserved for 6 didn't show up so we got put there. We ordered our meals and 4 of them came 20 minutes later 2 were cold 1 was wrong as it had hashbrowns on it so they took it back scraped off the hashbrowns and brought it back. The other 2 meals showed up 40 minutes after. They took some items off the bill but our experience was not very good. We went out to celebrate my Birthday with my family and close friends and we didn't really get to enjoy our time together. I had to leave to goto work.

Took my wife for birthday dinner. Both our crab cakes had pieces of shell in them, and the steaks we asked for medium-rare were well-done. Server was pleasant.

I won a Father's Day contest for my husband and had the pleasure of getting a meal delivered from The Savoy Brasserie. First, I have to mention the contact that I worked with (Gillian) was absolutely lovely and made some great recommendations while being very accommodating.We ordered the steak frites and a Savoy Burger and split them so we could try a little of both. The burger was thick with a nice balance of different flavours that blended wonderfully. The steak had my husband drooling. It was peppery without being overpowering and cooked perfectly. Not a drop of the jus was wasted.For dessert we both had creme brulees with seasonal berries. It was delicious! Smooth, creamy, not too sweet with a wonderfully caramelized top. I was told they normally didn't send the creme brulees out for delivery but they worked it out and I'm so glad they found a way to make it work. We ate too quickly to take photos!! You won't be disappointed!

Underrated in wesboro, great food and service! Marshal would have take it to 6 if the option was possible. The new ownership definitely took prior reviews and took action and improve all areas that were lacking before. Thanks for a great evening thanks with friends!

Lovely French bistro vibe. Service was top notch by Jason. Had the croissant French toast - deliciously decadent for my birthday with a mimosa! Thank you to the staff for a warm welcoming!

Didn't have high expectations for this restaurant for some reason but I was surprised! Great place with a really good Savoy Burger. Great environment and ambience with the live music and the service was great. I would definitely visit again. My wife order a jambalaya and she said it was alright.

My favorite brunch place in the city. They sometimes have amazing specials, but it's great any other time I go as well! The Coissant French Toast is delicious. The mix of the flakey pastry and the juicy fruit give it a lot of depth for something so sweet. I also really liked the Breakfast Poutine, it's a perfect savoury breakfast.

Food is mediocre. The beef tataki was matched with some Housing sauce to emulate some sort of Asian fusion. The pork chop was bland and mixed with some cooked vegetables on the side with some dripping of gravy reminiscent of a school dinner. The duck confirms is too dry. The table service is attentive but there is no change of cutlery between the dishes! Not the usual standard of a French brasserie.

We celebrated our staff Christmas lunch. Unfortunately lunch at 2pm was lunch 3:30. They have the funniest names cocktail drink Overall, the steak was great. Great dessertI am sure the wish they could have done better.

Great asparagus goat cheese eggs benny. Never a disappointing breakfast!

We love the bright spacious seating area and the menu items. Everything that we've tried - all breakfast/brunch dishes - has been really good. I'm only giving three stars because the service is patchy. It could easily be improved with better coordination between the staff.

I had the pleasure of going here and I was very impressed!Being Christmas season, I was shocked at the amount of decorations and the time it must have took to decorate this place.I instantly felt festive! Definitely put me in the Christmas spirit.The service was fantastic! My server ...she was very accommodating. She even took the time to wrap a present I had brought in. Both her and manager went out of their way to find wrapping paper, tape. Very impressed. I definitely will be returning to this establishment. Highly recommended to everyone!

The food was awesome even though my plate did not have everything on it that was listed on the menu it was still delicious and the waitress was very accommodating. The atmosphere was nice.

Pretty expensive for a mediocre brunch. The trend here seems to be different brunch foods, but not better ones, than your average diner. $73 for three people to have breakfast/brunch without alcohol seems a little excessive considering the quality of food. Probably wouldn’t go back.
